Miss Adamson
Miss Adamson is the teacher of class 9.She is now a fully trained teacher that is in charge of P.E. Class 9 is made up of year 5 and 6 pupils. Miss Adamson has been woking at Appleton as a fully trained teacher for a year now but before has done a lot of work in nusery and lower parts of the school.
Miss Grindell
Miss Grindell is the teacher in Class 6. She is now a fully qualified teacher and is pleased to have her own class
Mrs Sissons
Mrs Sissons is the teacher of class 5. Mrs Sissons is in charge of I.C.T and languages. She has been here for 5 years and has worked in year 3,4,5 and 6. She enjoys working at Appleton and loves teaching because there are so many rewards, especially from the children themselves. Mrs Sissons has recently become a lead teacher in Modern Foreign Languages for different schools in Hull. In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym, the theatre, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
Miss Clark
Miss Clark works all around the school. She works on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Miss Clark has been working in year 3 and 4 for the last year. Within the school she is leader of History. In her free time she likes going to the gym and keeping fit.
Miss Dibnah
Miss Dibnah has worked at Appleton for many years. Since working here she has taught in KS1 and KS2 and now teaches years 5 and 6 in class 8. Miss Dibnah is in charge of Basic Skills and Speaking and Listening at our school. She enjoys working here and having new challenges.
Miss Gray
Miss Gray is the teacher of class 10. Miss Gray loves to teach because she gets to work with the children and helps them as best as she can. Miss Gray has been teaching at Appleton primary for 4 years. Miss Gray describes herself as fun and friendly and she always tries to teach to her full potential.Two years ago Miss Gray was teaching in class 7,she said it is nice to have a change and to meet new people.
Mrs Spicer
Class 4 is taught by Miss Spicer who is interesting and fun. She is in charge of SEN. Mrs Spicer likes teaching history and science but doesn’t like teaching art.She has lots of children in her class but also has lots of people that help her out. Her favourite food is Chinese or Mexican and she likes to go to hot places on holiday.
Mrs Baglin
Mrs Baglin teaches in Reception with Mrs Caulton She works on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday. Mrs Baglin has worked at Appleton for many years and really enjoys it. She spent a long time working in our Reception class and only moved into year 5 and 6 last year and has gone back to reception. Mrs Baglin is the leader of the ‘Friends of Appleton’ and works with parents and local people organising special events for our school. Their first big thing was the Summer Fair a couple of years ago. It was a beautiful day and lots of people turned up. All the teachers helped to run the stalls, raising lots of money! They followed that with a Christmas Fayre which proved just as successful. Mrs Baglin is currently organising the third Christmas Fair so pease come if you can.
Mrs Caulton
Mrs Caulton has worked at Appleton for a few years now. She first started work here as a supply teacher, looking after classes when other teachers were on courses or poorly. She then started working here part time, sharing a class with Mrs Baglin in KS1. This year she still shares with Mrs Baglin but they both now work in class reception. Mrs Caulton enjoys working at Appleton and is now in charge of PSHE at our school
Mrs Nightingale
Mrs Nightingale has been working here at Appleton Primary school for 15 years. She works in the Class 1 . The highest year she has worked with is year four, she worked all the way up from nursery to year four. Mrs Nightingale says she prefers working with the little ones because she can do more craft! She is in charge of D and T.
Mrs Peck
Mrs Peck teaches in class 7. She is in charge of Numeracy and also the Teaching Assistants within our school. She does assembly every so often and playground duty once a week. Her hobbies are swimming, reading, and going to the park with her children.
Mrs Pearson
In the nursery there are four members of staff. Mrs Pearson, who has worked at Appleton for many years, Miss Linley, Miss Newton and Mrs Taylor. They all enjoy working in our Nursery, helping the youngest children prepare to come to school. They are all friendly and very helpful.They also like to draw lots of pictures for the teachers.
